U15-U18 Girls Teams
WI State Championships – Update from Stevens Point
Over the past two weekends the best high school age girls’ teams from around
Wisconsin have been competing to earn their spot in the 2009 National
Championship Series next summer in Lancaster, Massachusetts hosted by US Youth
Soccer Association. Before teams can advance to the US Youth Soccer Region II
Championships in June, they must win this week’s championship game being held
in the Metro Milwaukee area.
We invite everyone to come out and cheer on the teams as they go head to head
under the lights. The championship matches are:
U15 New United vs. FC Milwaukee Blue
Monday, September 22nd Voigt Soccer Park – Brookfield

U16 MYSC Blue vs. Madison 56ers Red
Tuesday, September 23rd Voigt Soccer Park – Brookfield

Wednesday, September 24th Uihlein Soccer Park – Milwaukee
U18 FC Milwaukee Blue vs. Mequon

State Championship Placements
The fall 08-09 Girls State Championship draw is complete. Please
click here to view your team’s placement. (Please note these placements
have been updated as of 8/13/08 due to a redraw of the U18 bracket. Be sure to
check the schedule as some game times and field locations have been
changed.)
We are excited to be conducting the event at the PCYS Soccer Complex at 701
Badger Ave in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Group play will be September 13, 14 and
20; with the semi-finals scheduled for Sunday, September 21. Finals will be held
on Wednesday, September 24 at a location to be determined based on the teams
advancing to the championship match.
