Youth Soccer Month in Sept 2010
Last year, the amount of Youth Soccer Month events held nationwide doubled with 165 events to celebrate, honor and promote the benefits of the game of soccer. The 5th annual Youth Soccer Month 2009 campaign set a new standard and even more is planned for 2010. We Want to Hear from You
.....Youth Soccer Writers - Tell your story and you might see it come to life on Fox Soccer Channel

Soccer is about creativity and creating opportunities for the players. At US Youth Soccer, we have developed another outlet for soccer players in your club to display their talents and tell their soccer stories. Since no soccer season goes without creating stories, we want your soccer players to tell those stories to US Youth Soccer by becoming a Youth Soccer Writer for USYouthSoccer.org.

You could have the next USA Today, Sports Illustrated or ESPN writer in your club and they need somewhere to get their writing published. Becoming a Youth Soccer Writer, soccer players just need to complete the short Application Form and submit their story to USYouthSoccer.org. Selected stories could appear on the homepage or could come to life on The US Youth Soccer Show on Fox Soccer Channel.

Story Topics Include:

My club team – Every team has a story, who has contributed to your team's success?

How I got started playing – How did you get involved, who helped you, etc.

What I want to be doing in soccer…life – Career aspirations both on and off the field of play.

Lessons learned through soccer – Most valuable lessons learned both on and off the field.

Advice to the younger player – Offer your unique insights to younger, up-and-coming players.

Family affair – How your parents and siblings have helped you grow in the game.

Be sure to check out the all new www.USYouthSoccer.org today and watch videos, read stories and more.
